Achievements Day
At the end of each school year awards are presented to students for achievements in academic, cultural, sporting and community areas of school life. This is an acknowledgment of the contribution that all of these areas make to the holistic development of the individual and the overall quality of school life.
Prizes are also given to students who are nominated in each class as ‘Student of the Year.’ The overall ‘Student of the Year’ in 5th year is awarded and in 2010 the winner was Niamh McGovern from Swanlinbar. Previous winners have been:
